Once Again, MIA

“To be or not to be, that is the question…”  A noble question indeed, however…

The question right now in my life is “Am I coming or going?”

I know, I totally suck! I fully admit it.  But, hear me out. There are good reasons I am ONCE AGAIN so out of the loop and missing in action.

For one, I was on call last week and lost on average three hours of sleep a night. That was followed by this week, where I have been working late for several days on end due to problems with my project that just won’t go away. And to top it all off, I have spent several sleepless nights due to the latest fiasco to upset my fragile existence.

BABY RATS! R-A-T-S! In my house!!!

Yes, I saw a baby rat scurrying across my bathroom the other night as I was doing my business, helpless on the john.

UGGGGGHHHH! Add that to your list of reasons to leave the city, Radical Mama! You forgot to mention the rats!

So half the time I am walking around like a zombie, and the other half of the time I am walking around like Rambo.

KILL! KILL! KILL!

<um, I know this is shocking to hear coming from the animal lover and all, but…>

DIE! DIE! DIE! Get out of my house, you disease infected good for nothing four legged pieces of shits!

I called Rat Control at 9:01 the next day. Massive cleaning endeavor ensued. Now, we are planning to put out the rat traps this weekend and get the hell out of dodge.

Wish us luck!

I promise to visit you all soon. Witch’s honor.

I SOOOO feel your pain, but with mice, thank God. Rats creep me out. No rats in Michigan that I've heard of. At first, I thought my mouse was so cute and cuddly and "Oh yeah, we can totally co-exist! Have some rice! Peace and love, little creature!" But where there is one, there are 300. Die fuckers! The squealing of a mouse on a sticky trap no longer makes me feel like I am going to Hell. I feel triumphant!

I was going to say that I though there was something in the air around here since I only slept 2 good nights this week. But hell baby rats would keep me up for months.

Are you sure it wasn't Remy making a publicity stop for Ratatouille? (sorry!)

OMG, I can SO feel your pain!!! The last house we lived in had HUGE rats. Of course, I had 4 cats, so I didn't see them often. They pretty much stuck to the basement and we stuck to upstairs.

Who knew four legged vermin could bring out your homicidal side *LOL*

I hope the offenders are caught soon.
